Five, Six, Seven, Eight ! (Scream LOUD!)
NO! I’m not in an aerobic gym. It’s gold numbers. LONG Vacation in May 2016 !
I was thinking about one place to visit. The peaceful one? crowded place? rockin’ place? beautiful waterfall? forest? hometown? meet boyfriend?. All of sudden, my frontal lobe give an answer :
an ISLAND, saskia !
well, Me and my very very best friends went to Badi island. We got that place from the Almighty I n s t a g r a m. It’s located in Mattiro deceng, Liukang Tupabbiring, Pangkep, South Sulawesi. Hey, only 15K each to get there, isn’t it cheap? yes, it’s cheaper than your cup of coffee. We didn’t even bring tends, and we didn’t care. It took one and an half hours to get that place. In the first minutes I enjoyed the blue sea, the “skyscrapers” of Makassar 😛 and the harbour scenery till felt asleep.
Time goes, I heard the sound of boat’s machine was getting lower and lower…
I was very enthuasiastic, damn ! We finally arrived.Some people were sitting down around the jetty. I saw the crystal clear waters when jumped up from the boat. There were several colourful boats around the island. The sun was shining on the sea.

We walked around the island by 3 pm.More less 300 families there. The electricity starts at 6 pm – 6 am. The are lots of kids and I saw some kids playing around the island, some goats with it’s shits, mothers talked with neighbors 😀
in the night, me and my friends walked over to the jetty. The air of the island was damn good. We sang loud, laughed loud, danced loud ! I’ve been in some islands, but this one was just uplifting, met a warm,generous family whom I’ve never seen before. Mr. Wahe is an old man who helped us and offered us to stay in his house. He hosted me and my friends for a night in his wooden house.
what a trip!
The wonderful feeling is when you met a stranger and gave you a best hospitality. I realized over and over that there are millions nice people out there. You might think that a stranger who adressed you are a danger one. No no no, go pack your stuff, call your friends, hit a new place, and you’ll figure it out.
