OLD TOWN, OLD JAKARTA

“For those who are lost, there will always be cities that feel
like home.”

???????????????????????????????

I went to Jakarta in the very early October. My friends and I were spending times in several tourism objects in Jakarta. One of them is Kota Tua. Kota Tua also known as Old Batavia (the former name of Jakarta). We used busway from Kuningan to Kota Tua. Once we arrived there, there were hundreds people with a lot of attractive activities.Actually, it’s quite not really impressing me at the beginning because I just damn looked at hundreds people around town. We bought a glass of coconut milk then walked around. One thing that really catched my eyes was the number of colourful-old bicycles in the middle of Batavia Square. In Kota Tua, the Fatahillah museum is still a favorite site for culture lovers, photographers, local tourists and international tourists. I saw several couples of tourists who was enjoying walked around the area. One of amusing one was hired balloons with various colours. It’s 10.000 IDR /10 Minutes.

isn't it FUN?

Kota tua is also known as “The jewel of Asia” and “Queen of the east”. There is also the Wayang Museum, the Bank Indonesia and Bank Mandiri Museums, housing artefacts related to the banking world, cafe’s Batavia. Walking is the best way to go around these historical sites. It has recently been laid out as a pedestrian area. Last but not least, I tried a MUST traditional Jakarta’s food.- KERAK TELOR. How do I would forget it? IT was just fantastic.
